Check back often to see all the things I love! I’ll be updating this page monthly with all the things I love – courses, products, and other goodies that make my life happier and healthier. I promise I won’t share anything here that I haven’t tried myself!
Aside from the treadmill or walking my dog, my favorite ways to workout are Yoga and Pilates. Thanks to the following two resources I easily manage to do one or the other almost every day!
THE SISTERHOOD: I LOVE my daily Pilates workout. Thanks to my favorite membership site “The Sisterhood,” I enjoy a short (10 to 15 minute) workout Monday/Wednesday, and Friday and a longer one (about 30 minutes) on Tuesday and Thursday. After paying my annual membership I added it to my phone and every morning I log on, complete my workout, and move on with my day. So easy and so fun! It’s open right now, so click on this link to check it out.
YOGA: My all-time favorite Yoga DVD – if I’m feeling achy or sore, THIS is the video I reach for. It contains 5 short (20 – 25) minute yoga routines. Perfect for starting your day off feeling GREAT!
I love to cook and I am always on the lookout for new recipes and cookbooks. A resource I’ve come to love for the busier weeks in my life is Eat at Home. The program is super affordable, for just $14 a month (that’s less than ONE latte a week), you get access to four delicious meal plans every week: Plant-Based Whole Food, Traditional, No Flour No Sugar, and Slow Cooker. Each menu plan contains six dinners and one dessert or five dinners and one salad.
I tend to gravitate towards the Traditional and we have been enjoying those meals for a few months now. When I have a super busy week, I just select the Slow Cooker – I can get dinner on the table easily and without stress. It’s wonderful to come home to a delicious and tasty dinner! Each week in addition to the menu plans, you get a full grocery list, so you can just print it out, go to the store, and have what you need for a week’s worth of dinners. Love it!
Check out Eat at Home yourself and see how many delicious dinners you can add to your weekly schedule!
When I’m super busy and don’t even have time to hit the grocery store or just want to make my life VERY simple, I order boxes from EveryPlate. It’s a home delivery service that sends me everything I need for three meals. Since I can skip weeks whenever I want it’s very flexible too.
It’s such a lifesaver when I’m not feeling motivated to menu plan, just got back from vacation, or just want everything ready to go. The meals are delicious and it’s very affordable. Check it out here and get $20 off your first order. Curious to know my totally honest review of it? Check out this recent blog post: My Totally Honest Review of EveryPlate
When it comes to fashion, I LOVE to shop and put together fun outfits. (Pinterest anyone?) However, I just don’t have the time or money to shop as much as I used to. These days, thanks to GYPO’s seasonal style challenges, I have a wardrobe I love and lots of options for fun outfits that I know look great. Since I enjoy these challenges so much, I’ve signed up for an annual membership.
However, if you want to just give it a try, check out the seasonal challenges – they are super affordable and lots of fun. You’ll save time every day by knowing exactly what to wear. You’ll get tons of compliments. You’ll feel good about yourself. You’ll probably save money in the long run – I know I spend a lot less on my clothing after a few years of these challenges! If you get involved in the Facebook group, you’ll meet some really amazing women. What’s not to love, right?
Be sure to join me for the next session – Winter! Check it out HERE. Definitely, a resource to help increase happiness in your life!!!
PRODUCTIVITY/ TIME MANAGEMENT:
I geek out over time management books, courses, etc. I love a good checklist and I find it fun to find ways to be more productive. If that’s you too, check out my favorite resources in this category below:
UPDATE: If you like affordable yet helpful online classes, Crystal Paine has a ton of great ones HERE. If you aren’t interested in any of the ones currently on sale, her Make Over Your Mornings course is the perfect place to start because I truly believe that a positive start in the morning sets you up for success the rest of the day. And Crystal Paine is a master at helping you create a fantastic morning routine. It’s a 14-day online course that takes a mere 15 minutes or so each day. It’s also SUPER affordable. I love it so much, I go through it every time I start to feel unmotivated in the morning or need to switch up how I start my days. I’ve also enjoyed several of her other courses too! Check out the details HERE.
Okay, so this one is my own course, but if you are at all interested in becoming a Mystery Shopper, I encourage you to check it out. It’s the resource I wish I had when I started – everything you need in one place. You can complete the class within about an hour. Once you finish, you are ready to begin shopping right away. Check it out HERE.
I’ve taken numerous courses through the years, and so far my favorite (and most useful) have been the courses by It’s a Lovely Life. I’ve taken and enjoyed both the Travel Blogging Fast Track Course and the Blogging Blast Off Course. Both are similar and will help you get your blog off the ground quickly as well as start to grow traffic. Obviously, you have to put in the work, but if you follow the course and complete the assignments, I think you’ll see your blog start to grow. Not quite ready for a full course yet? The Reese’s also offer a FREE 5-day Start a Money Making Blog Crash Course. This is a great option if you want to see what the classes are like and get a jump start on your blog. Make sure if you join any of these courses that you participate in the Facebook Groups – I’ve found them to be great!
I use my Young Living essential oils daily! I use them for travel, during my beauty routine and I diffuse them throughout the house. If you are curious to learn more about essential oils, check out my Young Living site!
