Now that school’s been in session for a few weeks, are you running out of snack ideas? Here’s a super quick (and yummy) one for you. Due to the dipping involved, it has a great appeal to kids – and it will fuel them for after school sports or homework. It’s so simple I’m almost embarrassed to post it, but it’s so yummy I have to share!
Apples and Dip
2 T organic peanut butter (only ingredients should be peanuts and salt)
2 t. raw honey
1 apple, sliced
Mix the peanut butter and honey and use it for a dip for the apple slices. A fun variation is to sprinkle your apple slices with a bit of cinnamon. Or try pears as your dipper – even celery works well. Speaking from experience, this also makes a fantastic breakfast!

I have this snack almost every day!! Thanks for sharing!! I also like to sub the apples for carrots. Thank you!
Anna – it is delicious isn’t it? I do celery, but never thought of carrots! I might just put together a whole little platter of dippers for my kids today!
Great list! People should keep blog posts short and sweet. I have been giving out short and direct to the point posts and it’s more readable to customers than posting a too-detailed post.
